The short answer
Valve's July 8, 2026 Counter-Strike 2 update added the Spy Tech and Arabesque weapon collections to the Armory. It also added the Fruits & Vegetables and Auto Racing sticker collections. At the same time, Valve removed the Train 2025 and Sport & Field weapon collections and the Sugarface 2 and Elemental Craft sticker collections from the Armory.
This is a rotation, not a claim that an item will rise or fall in value. Read the official July 8 update notes for the primary source.
What changed in the Armory
| Added July 8, 2026 | No longer available in the Armory | | --- | --- | | Spy Tech weapon collection | Train 2025 weapon collection | | Arabesque weapon collection | Sport & Field weapon collection | | Fruits & Vegetables sticker collection | Sugarface 2 sticker collection | | Auto Racing sticker collection | Elemental Craft sticker collection |
Valve described the new collections as coming from a recent community Call to Arms announcement. The same update launched Premier Season Five, added Cache to Active Duty, and removed Overpass from Active Duty—useful context, but separate from the cosmetic rotation.
Why an Armory rotation matters to players
An active collection affects what players can currently pursue through that system. It does not tell you the long-term market price of any particular finish. Supply, demand, visible wear, patterns, future updates, and Community Market activity can all matter.
If you are choosing a skin for a loadout, start with the finish you genuinely like and the weapon you use. If you are researching availability, confirm the collection in-game and use current Valve notes. Do not make a decision based only on a thumbnail, a one-day price change, or a social-media prediction.
How to follow CS2 collection changes
- Bookmark Valve's official CS2 update feed.
- Read the item and Armory sections, not only headline summaries.
- Record the update date with any collection list you save.
- Recheck before acting—collection availability can change again.
Where SkinTasks fits
SkinTasks is not the Armory and is not affiliated with Valve or Steam. It is a separate rewards service: users can complete eligible tasks for coins, then browse the live CS2 reward inventory. The catalog can contain different items from the current Armory, and availability and coin prices can change.
FAQ
Are Spy Tech and Arabesque still in the Armory?
They were added in Valve's July 8, 2026 update. Confirm the current in-game Armory and the latest Valve notes, because rotations can change.
Did Valve delete Train 2025 or Sport & Field skins?
The update says those collections were no longer available in the Armory. That is different from deleting items already held by players.
Is a rotated-out collection automatically valuable?
No. A rotation changes availability through one system; it does not guarantee future prices or demand.
